Digital Technology Manager

Our client, a well-established construction firm is looking for a forward-thinking Digital Technology Manager to champion their organisation's BIM-VDC-IDD strategies and drive impactful technology adoption across various mid-large scale building projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and implement company-wide BIM, VDC, and IDD strategies across projects.
  • Develop and maintain digital standards, guides, and workflows in alignment with industry best practices (e.g., DfMA, Lean, ISO).
  • Support and audit project teams on BIM compliance, coordination processes, and digital tool usage.
  • Collaborate closely with project BIM Managers to ensure effective implementation and integration of digital solutions.
  • Evaluate and enhance digital competencies across departments; lead internal training, coaching, and skills development initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and participate in industry workgroups.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and provide insights to support strategic planning and innovation.
  • Assist with tender support, performance reviews, budgeting, and digital resource planning.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) or Built Environment sector.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Autodesk AEC tools (Revit, Navisworks, BIM360/Construction Cloud).
  • Solid understanding of project delivery processes, digital workflows, and BIM/VDC/IDD use cases.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Lean, Kanban) and tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Experience in software/scripting for automation in construction is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
