Opening Job Opportunity:
We have an opening for a Service Engineer in the Polycold Chiller Division. You will work closely with your team to ensure quality servicing expectations are met. In this role, you will be responsible for:
What You Will Do
- Service and repair Polycold Chillers under the guidance and supervision of the Manager and Lead Engineer.
- Adhere to quality standards and repair procedures – On-the-job training will be provided.
- Perform installation, testing and commissioning of repaired units
- Prepare detailed appraisal and service reports
- Respond to customer job requests promptly and perform troubleshooting accurately
- Work in clean-room facilities, customer plant-site and workshop
- Communicate & manage customer's expectations
- Promote safety, assist in improving and ensuring workplace safety
What You Must Have
- NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related or similar servicing industry.
- Able to be on standby 24/7 based on assigned duty roster
- Willing/ able to work overtime as needed
What We Appreciate From You
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Good knowledge of mechanical and refrigerant systems
- Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Willing to learn new skills and new methodology
- Possess a valid Class 3 Driving License (Optional)
