The Software Developer ("Developer") is a product development position that collaborates closely across company functions to achieve Mesh Bio's business objectives. The Developer would work with other developers and commercial staff to translate business objectives, product development strategies, customer requirements into Mesh Bio's products and services.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop production code while maintaining highest standards and practices of software development
• Implement and maintain systems and software architecture for data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization under medical device and HIPAA design controls
• Ensure that development is performed with clean, well-commented, and well-tested code that follows data governance policies
• Implement security methods for user and device authentication and authorization, as well as robust encryption and other security mechanisms
• Provide development and production status updates to project leaders
• Learn new programming languages and tools as needed especially those in our tech stack

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor's degree in STEM
• 2-3 years prior experience in a software development or algorithm R&D
• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional areas
• Ability to multi-task and manage tasks with varying priorities
• Preference for those who have a good grasp of 1 or more of the following in our tech stack:
• • Javascript with HTML/CSS, NativeScript
• • -Python & Django/Flask
• -Prolog
• -Swift for cross-platform development
• -Dart & Flutter
• -Multi-Cloud setup with and (Yaml)

Proficiency: have at least 2 areas of expertise (subject matter expert)

Communication and teamwork: active role in discussing own and group tasks in Scrum and topical meetings, collective problem solving, mutual enrichment and growth

Documentation: task, solution, code

Product development process: active completion of the URS-PRS-Component-Test loop

Problem solving: average difficulty of independently solved problems

Code quality: readiness of the code for production, lack of bugs

Learning: identifying areas of improvement, filling up gaps, discovery of new programming approaches

To suggest improvements and recommendations in the following functions

• Functional and Technical Research and Specification
• Software Development
• Process Automation
• Platform Maintenance
• Technical Documentation
• Software Testing
• Information Security Operation
• To review records related to the above functions and be designated to approve if required
