KidSTART Singapore Ltd. (KSL) is a non-profit organization, incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee under the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in Sep 2020 to support low income families with children 0-6 years old in child development, especially through the KidSTART programme.
Description of Division/Branch
You will be part of the Corporate Development team providing a suite of corporate services in Finance, Human Resource, Payroll and Claims, Data Management and IT services to ensure smooth running of the office. As part of the process, the team will work closely with other branches in the organisation, engage with funders and stakeholders across Government and non-Government agencies, and work closely with senior management to forecast and anticipate evolving needs of the organisation.
Job Description
Provide support in sourcing for goods and services.
Conduct the procurement of goods and services according to Procurement policy.
Manage and monitor the appropriate level of inventory.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast and plan to procure goods and services at the right quantity and time.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders for planning of inventory and arrangement of delivery.
Prepare purchase orders, verify supplier invoices and delivery notes for all purchases and deliveries.
Arrange transport with suppliers and 3rd party logistics service providers for deliveries and timely replacements for faulty items.
Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve processes.
Participate in other supply chain related tasks/projects as may be assigned.
Requirements and skills
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, or related field.
3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain related roles.
Good interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in ERP system.
Ability to work independently and a team player.
