Assistant/Finance Manager

Our client is a well established entity in manufacturing and distribution of parts and components for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the finance department.
- Review financial and management accounting, focusing on group reporting. taxation, standard costing. intercompany transactions, credit control, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for the parent and ultimate parent companies.
- Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies
- Manage the annual business budget.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents on year-end audits and tax matters.
- Develop and implement foreign exchange hedging strategies and manage other treasury-related activities.
- Work with the Company Secretary on secretarial and regulatory reporting matters. including GST. income tax, and annual returns.
- Review legal contracts and collaborate with senior management to formulate business growth strategies.
- Partner with the CEO on business planning, investor presentations, and financial communications.
- Manage expenses, working capital, and cash flow; ensure timely and accurate Profit & Loss statements.
- Create and manage financial models, costing. and pricing for various projects and programs.
- Supervise finance operations, manage in-house accountants, and improve workflows and internal controls.
- Establish a Financial Planning and analysis (FP&A) framework to drive performance management including identifying KPIs and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with departments on short-term and long-range planning budgeting and forecasting
- Perform financial projections, risk assessments, and operational planning for new business initiatives.
- Maintain relationships with external auditors and address their findings and recommendations.
- Review legal contracts.
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance and CPA
- 10 years of professional experience working in a similar capacity
- Audit experience and experience in manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to collect, combine and analyse information under challenging conditions.
- Focused on continuous improvement and development of the Finance function.
- Knowledge on IFRS as well as China GAAP.
