Job Title: Part-Time Accountant

Location: In-person

Job Type: Part-Time (9am-6pm)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Accountant to join our team. As a Part-Time Accountant, you will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is a flexible, part-time role ideal for someone looking to apply their accounting skills in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

2.Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

3.Process invoices, payments, and monitor overdue accounts.

4.Reconcile bank statements and assist with audits.

5.Help manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

6.Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review.

7.Support tax preparation and compliance.

8.Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed.

9.Ensure all accounting transactions are in line with company policies and legal requirements.

Requirements:

1.Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role (preferably in a part-time capacity).

2.Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.

3.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

4.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

5.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

6.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

7.A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred, but not required).

8.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data.
