About the role

U-ONE RETAIL (S) PTE LTD is seeking a Retail Assistant to join our team at our store located in Ang Mo Kio Town Centre in the North-East region. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our retail store.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and providing recommendations on our products
  2. Maintaining the store's appearance and ensuring shelves are well-stocked and merchandised
  3. Handling cash and card transactions as well as processing returns and exchanges
  4. Adhering to company policies and procedures to deliver a consistent and positive customer experience
  5. Collaborating with the store team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
  6. Participating in inventory management and stock-taking exercises

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the consumer products industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  3. Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  4. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail when handling cash and transactions
  5. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
  6. A team player with a positive attitude and a desire to contribute to the store's success
