Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Built on a culture of excellence, the School is renowned for its high academic standards and research. It is one of the largest EEE schools in the world, with more than 120 faculty members and an enrollment of more than 5,000, of which about 2,000 are graduate students.

We invite applications for the position of Administrative Support Assistant Manager. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to School Chair and faculty. This can include providing secretariat support for Chair and School Search Committee for faculty and School Re-appointment Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Chair (EEE) in terms of calendar and travel management, coordination of meetings and reimbursement matters on a timely basis

  • Handle sensitive and confidential matters and provide support to ensure necessary flow of information to relevant stakeholders

  • Support School Search Committee (SSC) for new faculty

  • Plan, coordinate and support for faculty matters like contract renewal, re-employment and promotion

  • Create and maintain database on faculty matters

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability in supporting C Suite executives / or senior management

  • Proficient with standard MS office software (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Possess strong written and spoken communication skills

  • Able to write and correspond professionally

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience is preferred
