Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Development:
  • Identify industry trends through research, publications, and announcements.
  • Establish potential business deals by contacting partners and exploring opportunities.
  • Analyze market strategies, deal requirements, and financials to evaluate options and recommend investments.
  • Develop negotiation strategies, study integration of new ventures, and assess risks and potentials.
  • Close deals by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts, and integrating them with business operations.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Team and leverage existing client relationships to open new business opportunities.
  • Ensure timely payment collection as per terms.
  • Adhere to organizational processes and policies to ensure profitable business closure.
Customer Management:
  • Assess and exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain regular communication and develop long-term relationships.
  • Set clear expectations and represent the team to clients.
  • Build strong customer relationships and aim to make them referenceable.
Competencies:
  • Sales professional with experience in selling IT services, including application, consulting, and infrastructure services.
  • Proven prospecting, qualifying, and value-based demonstration skills.
  • Account management experience, especially in Banking and Financial domains.
  • Knowledge of global market trends, competitors' offerings, and future plans.
  • Strong communication, proposal writing, and reporting skills.
  • Leadership, networking, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated and target-oriented.
Critical Success Factors:
  • Extensive sales hunting experience in IT Application services.
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure services is a plus.
  • Experience in Banking Domain/Financial Services is desirable.
  • Ability to manage large accounts.
  • Local connections in the banking and financial industry in the region.
Future Role Progression:

Nucleus promotes internal talent based on career aspirations and capabilities. This role can lead to positions such as Regional Sales Director - Services or Sales Head, upon demonstrating the necessary credentials.

Requirements

Desired qualifications:

  • Direct selling experience in IT services, handling large key accounts in banking/financial services.
  • Exposure to SEA Market.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • 12-15 years of experience in IT Services Sales.
