The Opportunity

  • A leading organisation within the airport operations and management industry
  • Location: East
  • Monday - Friday 9am, 6pm
  • Salary: Up to $5.5k (based on Experience)
  • 1 year contract (Renewable)

The Talent:

  • Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable and month-end closing.
  • Proficient in SAP, Concur, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written communication skills to handle email correspondence effectively.
  • Positive "can-do" attitude, resilient, and able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

  • Prepare and close monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the APAC region
  • Accurately book invoices in accordance with internal financial policies and procedures.
  • Track and process payments within agreed credit terms, maintaining current payable balances.
  • Handle employee expense claims and prepare business expense reports for corporate credit cards.
  • Manage daily bank transactions including bank charges, interest income, and investment postings; ensure completeness of bank interface records.
  • Perform month-end activities such as accruals, prepayments, GRIR reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and aging reports; follow up on outstanding items.
  • Manage intercompany transactions including VAT transfers, centralized cash handling, dividend payouts, royalty charges, and cost allocations; ensure accurate month-end reconciliation.
  • Support year-end closing activities in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including reconciliation and financial disclosure documentation.
  • Review journals, reconciliation reports, and intercompany balances for quality control.
  • Assist with other finance and accounting tasks, including taxation and statutory reporting, as required.
