Quant portfolio manager, Asset Management Firm

A CMS licenced Asset Management firm with over USD100M in dry powder, seeking a portfolio manager to support the team's hedge fund and quant mandates.

Your new role

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive short-term asset allocation framework, integrating both quantitative models and qualitative insights to inform macro-level investment decisions across equities, fixed income, and alternative assets.
  • Propose tactical trades and strategies aimed at generating absolute return alpha, ensuring alignment with strategic asset allocation boundaries and portfolio-specific return and risk objectives.
  • Hold CMS directorship of the firm and influence house view
  • Mange junior analysts and provide mentorship
  • Design strategies for efficient portfolio management
  • Keep abreast of global developments in the capital markets, providing both the investment team and committee with key market updates and economic developments

What you'll need to succeed

  • Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline; CFA qualification is advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of experience in hedge funds, quant funds, asset allocation or a closely related investment function.
  • Demonstrates a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and financial modeling, with practical experience in developing tactical asset allocation frameworks.
  • At least 2 years of people-management experience
