As a wholly-owned entity of the world-renowned Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (MSI) Group, we are dedicated to developing young talents for our sector.As a member of our operations team, you can look forward to comprehensive professional training, sponsorship of professional qualifications, a friendly and collaborative culture and a competitive compensation package.ResponsibilitiesSupport the collection of premiums from clients, brokers, insurers, and reinsurersMonitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts on regular basisAssist in reconciling accounts and resolving mismatches or payment discrepanciesMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications and collections activityCollaborate with the finance team to process payment applications, handle refunds, and support bank reconciliationsCoordinate with internal teams (underwriting, claims) to resolve client issues impacting settlementPrepare aging reports and management reports for management reviewProvide administrative support to the credit control and finance teams as neededRequirementsDiploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field2-4 years of experience in credit control is mandatory for this role, preferably in the insurance sectorStrong understanding of insurance operations, billing cycles, and regulatory requirementsProficient in Microsoft ExcelGood communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage large data volumesDue to the volume of applications received, we will only contact shortlisted candidates.
