Our client is seeking a Sales Executive, Outdoor (Freight Forwarding) to join their team

This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth in the dynamic freight forwarding industry. You'll be actively developing new client relationships and promoting international logistics solutions with a well-established shipping company. This role offers excellent exposure to both air and ocean freight services while providing the autonomy to manage your own client portfolio and contribute directly to company revenue growth.

What you'll be doing?
  • Business Development: Conduct proactive cold calling and client visits to identify potential prospects and expand the customer base through strategic relationship building.
  • Service Promotion: Actively promote international air and ocean freight services, demonstrating value propositions to secure new business opportunities.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets through consistent prospecting and effective client engagement while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the entire freight process.
  • Market Research: Conduct comprehensive marketplace research to identify industry trends and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategies.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage daily logistics duties and ensure smooth freight service operations from pickup to delivery.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly sales reports to track progress and support management decision-making.
  • Strategic Account Development: Identify and develop targeted customer segments, focusing on building long-term partnerships for sustainable growth.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: Candidates with at least Nitec or Diploma qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Shipping, or related fields.
  • Sales Experience: Professionals with minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in the export and import industry.
