Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Associate to join our team. Your primary responsibility is to assist customers in finding the ideal furniture, such as handles, pulls, and accessories, for their interior design projects. While experience in interior design is preferred, it is optional as we will provide training. This position also includes ad hoc tasks and requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage clients, understand their needs, and offer expert advice on hardware selections to provide excellent customer service.

  • Learn about our product line and stay current on industry trends.

  • Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions and use upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.

  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by regularly restocking merchandise and updating displays.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by promptly addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Assist with merchandise receipt and unpacking, product labeling, and inventory accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Individuals with a background in interior design or related fields are preferred
  • Customer-focused, with excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to provide exceptional service.
  • Basic sales abilities and the ability to upsell products are needed.
  • Good communication skills are required to interact effectively with customers.
  • In product selection and transactions, pay close attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Working well in a team and a fast-paced environment.
  • Work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Candidates with relevant experience will have an advantage.
