Adecco is partnering with a top-tier European Bank, and we are currently looking for a Director (Leveraged Finance) within Credit Risk Management to join their business.
The Job:
- Risk Analysis: Perform in-depth risk assessments for corporate and leveraged finance deals across Asia and Australia. Corporate Lending and Leveraged Buyout transactions.
- Underwriting: Lead underwriting processes, focusing on risk identification, historical financial performance, legal structures, and collateral.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders (Rating, Legal, Tax, Compliance, and Operations) to align all aspects of deal execution and portfolio monitoring.
- Risk/Return Evaluation: Evaluate transactions for commercial viability and risk exposure; present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Credit Submissions: Develop credit papers, conduct due diligence, build financial models, run sensitivity analyses, and help negotiate key terms in commercial and financing agreements.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee post-approval activities, including deal closing, initial funding, ongoing monitoring, and responding to waiver or amendment requests.
The Talent:
- Education: A university degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, ideally supplemented by postgraduate or professional qualifications in finance.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in credit risk, specifically with exposure to corporate lending and leveraged finance in Asia and Australia.
- Technical Expertise: Strong capabilities in financial modeling and a solid understanding of complex financial structures and deal mechanics.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to identify transaction risks and propose effective risk mitigants.
- Regional Knowledge: Good grasp of legal and regulatory frameworks across key Asian jurisdictions, particularly relating to security and guarantees.
