Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Project Team to onboard new bookkeeping clients using emerging cloud accounting technologies such as Xero and QuickBooks Online.
  • Perform accounting, finance, and administrative duties at client premises when required.
  • Review bookkeeping work prepared by Junior Accounts Executives and provide coaching and guidance as needed.
  • Handle bookkeeping (minor), financial statement compilation, corporate tax preparation (major), and GST submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Report to the Group Team Lead and be able to work from the Singapore HQ office under a hybrid arrangement.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance business opportunities across the Group.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, or a Professional Accounting Qualification.
  • Prior hands-on experience in bookkeeping and payroll is an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of current financial reporting standards and Singapore corporate tax regulations is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
