Lead Trainer

Pasir Panjang, Singapore WERMTECH PTE. LTD. Full time $40,000 - $80,000 per year

Your responsibilities as our lead trainer include:

- Conduct interviews and hire freelance instructors for workshops.

- Train instructors on the delivery of all relevant workshops.

- Manage the scheduling and assignment of instructors to workshops.

- Act as the point of contact for schools and build strong rapport with teachers-in-charge.

- Oversee the discipline and professionalism of all instructors.

- Calculate stipends for instructors.

- Generate payslips for instructors.

- Prepare invoices for schools' payment.

- Serve as backup in the event of an instructor no-show

- Review and enhance existing workshops in alignment with current education trends

- Curate and develop new workshops based on current education trends

Requirements

- Teaching experience in education, training, or workshop facilitation.

- Prior experience managing freelance trainers or coordinating training programs.

- Experience working with schools or educational institutions is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with both instructors and school personnel.

- Strong organisational and scheduling abilities.

- Competence in basic accounting or payroll for stipend and invoice preparation.

- Ability to review and enhance curriculum based on evolving education trends.

- Problem-solving mindset, especially in handling last-minute changes like instructor no-shows.

Plus points if you:

- Hold a valid 3/3A driving license

- Hold WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) / Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP)

- Have STEM background or experience

- Have design thinking background or experience

- Love educating kids and love nature
