As a Regional Business Development Manager of Samsung’s Mobile eXperience (MX) B2B team, your role will focus on growing Samsung’s presence in enabling and assisting our local sales organizations in the development of business opportunities, vertical solutions and strategic partnerships for the sale of Samsung Electronics technology in the Education and Government sector.

This role will be based in Singapore and is responsible for the South East Asia and Oceania region.

Role and Responsibilities

Business Development
- Source, secure, and develop strategic relationships with EduTech Channel partners to expand ecosystem and addressable market opportunities
- Create, identify, and execute new growth opportunities by understanding key customer requirements and translating gaps to business solutions
- Drive regional business opportunities & sales conversion which focusing on Key Accounts, Vertical Solution partners and IT partners

Collaboration & Support to local sales teams
- Collaborate, coach, enable and support local sales organization and lead engagement with selected regional business opportunities
- Work in lock-step with HQ and regional teams by leveraging global ecosystem and best practices to strengthen B2B capabilities in the region

Product Marketing and Go-to-market Strategy
- Be the voice of Samsung Enterprise Mobility by providing thought leadership and key value proposition on Samsung’s Knox platform and business strategy cross-functionally to partners and relevant stakeholders
- Work closely with our local sales organizations to prioritize key business initiatives, formulate and execute strategic plan together with the local teams
- Provide regular and timely update and progress reports for management on a regular basis

Regional & Local Support for Events / Enablement Workshops
- Deliver high impact, high quality presentations to decision makers by delivering thought leadership, sharing of Samsung Enterprise Mobility best practices and use cases, and establishing Samsung as the vendor of choice
- Provide enablement sessions to partners/customers on Samsung Enterprise Mobility

Skills and Qualifications
- At least 8 years of regional experience in business development, market development, strategic partnerships, solution consulting or product management
- Experience in Edu Channel Sales/Business Development with Edu Tech partners, teachers/trainers and engaging with K-12, Universities or Ministries of Education, a must
- Experience working with/in startup environment or telco industry, a plus
- Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are a must
- Comfortable in interacting with C-Suite and top-level management
- Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
- Executive level presence and world class communications skills with verbal and written skills in English
- Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate key value proposition w possible and unique selling proposition to cross-functional audiences
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, assertive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
