  • Position: Brokerage Clerk/Broking Admin Executive (100% ACCOUNT SERVICING/NO SALES INVOLVED)
  • Location: Raffles Quay (Walking Distance from MRT)
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday (8.45am - 6pm)
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,500 + AWS + Performance Bonus + 16 Days AL + Flexi Benefits
  • Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide insurance broking advice and insurance placement for clients
  • Liaise with clients to understand their insurance needs and advise them on the available insurances coverage available
  • Obtain relevant underwriting information from client for submission to underwriters for quotation and terms
  • Reviewing rates, terms and conditions of quoted insurances and advising clients accordingly
  • Monitoring respective clients' statement of accounts regularly and ensuring that any outstanding payments are collected from client
  • Reviewing the list of renewal business on a daily basis and ensuring that necessary action is taken to renew clients' expiring policies where applicable and necessary
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
  • Possess a Diploma/Degree in any Business/Maritime Studies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Required to take the Commercial General Insurance (CGI) certificate (fully funded by company), if candidate does not possess the certificate
  • FULL training is provided, inexperienced candidates WELCOME
