We're seeking a meticulous and dependable Storekeeper to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our inventory operations - ensuring that raw materials, tools, and components are received, stored, and issued efficiently to support seamless production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying against purchase orders
- Organize and label inventory in designated storage areas
- Issue materials to production teams based on job orders and schedules
- Maintain accurate stock records using ERP systems
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely reorders
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with safety and handling protocols
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality control departments
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in storekeeping or warehouse operations (preferably in manufacturing)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to operate forklift or other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
- Basic understanding of production workflows and material requirements
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely
