Job Description Summary
(What the role is)
This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Biomedical Engineering in the School of Engineering.
**(What you will be working on)**
- Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: _
- Involvement in developing curriculum, facilitating student learning, conducting assessment and performing tasks for modules related to Biomedical Engineering for both Full-Time Diploma students and adult learners in the Part-Time programmes and Short Courses.
- Spearhead and identify new opportunities and collaboration with industry.
- Work on industry or consultancy project to stay relevant in your profession.
- Support student development in the area of education.
**(What we are looking for)**
**_Pre-requisites _**
- Preferably with qualification in Biomedical Engineering, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience in the area of medical technology, biomedical manufacturing or related.
- Passionate about education and possess strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring and interacting with students.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.
