**Regional Sales Director (Flavors)**:
**Travel Requirements**: Extensive regional travel is a prerequisite for this position.
**Key Roles & Responsibilities:
**Sales Strategy Development**:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base within the region.
- Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to capture market share and drive revenue growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
**Customer Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute account management plans to maximize business opportunities and achieve sales objectives.
**Team Leadership and Development**:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
**Sales Operations and Reporting**:
- Oversee sales operations, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management and making data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure effective use of CRM tools and systems to track sales activities and customer interactions.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, R&D, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Provide market feedback and insights to help shape product development and marketing strategies.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
**Compliance and Risk Management**:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to sales activities and customer relationships.
- Maintain the highest standards of business ethics and integrity in all interactions.
**Requirements**:
- 15 years of experience in sales within the flavor or food ingredients industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.
- Knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the flavor industry.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
