Job Discription:

  • Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for Semiconductor Equipment and subcomponents (wafer transfer modules, load ports, aligners, robots, controllers, fan filters, frame structures, etc.).
  • Align strategy with business, engineering, and technology roadmaps; lead implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct market research, identify and qualify new suppliers, and ensure alignment with KLA's technical and commercial goals.

  • Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams on sourcing decisions to meet product and fab requirements.

  • Source, qualify, and onboard suppliers to support innovation and capacity growth.

  • Drive supplier performance through KPIs, business reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Lead cost reduction, quality, and lead-time improvement initiatives.

  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve escalations.

  • Lead contract negotiations and manage the full contract lifecycle, including renewals and dispute resolution.

  • Partner with R&D, NPI, and manufacturing teams to align sourcing with design and production needs.

  • Work with finance and legal to manage budget, risk, and compliance.

  • Assess and mitigate supply chain risks (geopolitical, economic, environmental).

  • Establish dual sourcing and buffer strategies for critical components.
  • Ensure compliance with export control and environmental regulations (RoHS, REACH).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Robotics/Supply Chain; Master's or CPSM/PMP preferred.
  • 10+ years in strategic sourcing/category management within semiconductor or high-tech equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Semiconductor Equipment systems and wafer handling robotics.
  • Skilled in supplier audits, cost modeling, and technical negotiations.
