As a Chief Medical Officer (Nephrologist), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Develop and implement clinical policies and strategies to uphold safe, high-quality patient care.
  • Oversee clinical governance, including risk management, audits, and adherence to MOH standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to medical staff, fostering professional growth and a culture of clinical excellence.
  • Drive system-wide initiatives, standardize protocols, and ensure consistent clinical operations across all sites.
  • Champion innovation and continuous quality improvement through data-driven insights and performance metrics.
  • Represent the organisation in medical committees, professional forums, and stakeholder engagements.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree with valid SMC registration and Practising Certificate, with Specialist accreditation recognised by SAB.
  • Minimum 10 years of clinical practice, including at least 5 years in senior leadership or management, with strong knowledge of MOH regulations, healthcare laws, and clinical governance.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, implement effective clinical strategies, and engage stakeholders, with excellent communication skills, active CME participation, and commitment to high standards of patient care.
