Data Center Technology Consultant Manager

The Data Center Technology Consultant Manager will be responsible for leading a team of sales engineers to drive the growth of our data center solutions across Wesco's Worldwide Account organization. This role requires a deep understanding of data center technologies, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide deep technical knowledge of data center white and gray space environments, with broad knowledge in next generation cooling and high-performance computing (HPC), AI and networking technologies, including DC power requirements.
- Develop and execute sales engineering strategies that position Wesco as the trusted advisor in the Data Center industry, including Wesco's full suite of Data Center & Advisory Services.
- Lead client architecture discussions across wide spectrum of data center emerging technologies, to address complex customer challenges. Operate cross-functionally positioning Wesco's technology offerings across SBUs.
- Work closely with Sales, Supplier, and partner ecosystem teams to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales engineers to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer solutions.
- Conduct technology demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales engineering, with a focus on data center solutions.
- Proven data center engineering leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of data center technologies, including networking, storage, and virtualization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
