Our company provides innovative technological solutions that enable companies to adopt renewable energy with ease. Headquartered in Singapore, our company develops and operates Asia's leading trading platform for Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). We offer a one-stop ecosystem for RECs, supporting clients through the full REC lifecycle – asset registration, verification, marketplace and retirement.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Accounts/HR Executive on a 6-month contract to lead key accounting and HR activities. This role requires strong analytical and leadership skills, and the ability to work independently while overseeing junior team member.

You will be involved in managing day-to-day accounting operations, payroll processing, and HR administration while enjoying flexible working arrangements that prioritize outcomes and autonomy.

Reports To: Senior Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting (80%)

  • Oversee and finalize daily accounting operations, including general ledger and reconciliations

  • Prepare periodic financial closing (monthly/quarterly/yearly) and assist with financial reporting and analysis - this includes reconciliations, trade and intercompany confirmations, periodic government reports and accounts schedules

  • Track and manage cash flow, budgeting, and expense monitoring

  • Review GST filings and support IRAS compliance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records

  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries and external stakeholders when necessary

  • Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for strategic decision making

2. Human Resources (20%)

  • Lead recruitment efforts including sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiations.

  • Manage HR policies, employee handbook, and ensure compliance with MOM, CPF and PDPA regulations.

  • Administer monthly payroll processing (including CPF, SDL, tax deductions) and manage employee benefits.

  • Review IR8A forms and MOM documentation

  • Manage work pass renewals, applications, cancellations and any other MOM-related requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance - HR certification is a plus

  • 4–6+ years of relevant experience in both accounting and HR roles (preferably in a tech/startup environment).

  • Preferred minimum 3 years settlement working experience in licensed Fintech industry.

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore statutory compliance (CPF, IRAS, GST, MOM, Employment Act).

  • IT Savvy, proficient in accounting and HR software (Xero/Zoho books, QuickHR)

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote setup

  • High attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and a proactive attitude.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.

Contract Terms:

  • Duration: 6-month contract
  • Renewal/Conversion: May be extended or converted to a permanent role based on performance and company needs
