Senior Business Analyst(SAP FICO)

The Senior Finance Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in aligning business needs with technology solutions, driving the successful implementation and continuous improvement of SAP Finance systems across the organization. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end project activities, from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and support, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to best practices. Leveraging deep expertise in SAP FICO and cross-functional integration, the analyst supports operational excellence, financial accuracy, and strategic decision-making across the enterprise.

Job Description

• Plan, manage and execute Change Request implementation activities including business requirement workshops, solution design, system configuration, documentation, testing, training, data migration and deployment.
• Participate in the S4HANA Cloud implementation project activities.
• This role includes sustainment responsibilities activities including system enhancements, end- user support and application upgrades. Ensure solution documentation is up-to-date and aligned with evolving business needs.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout project and enhancement lifecycles. Facilitate alignment between business goals and technical solutions through clear, constructive dialogue.
• Work closely with teams across Finance, Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Service Order modules and 3rd party software to ensure seamless integration and end-to-end process optimization
• Support regional rollouts and initiatives in Australia and Qatar, including occasional travel to ensure successful implementation and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to internal controls, compliance standards, and SAP best practices. Proactively identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Requirements

1. Proven key contributor in at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private and/or Public implementations for multi-regional organizations, covering Finance, Quote to Cash, Source to Pay, Budgeting and Forecasting.
2. Strong hands-on experience with both SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Private or Public).
3. Minimum of 4 full-cycle SAP rollouts across Finance and integrated modules.
4. Minimum 4 years of relevant operation support experience.
5. Core functional knowledge

a)     Deep expertise in SAP Finance Controlling sub-modules, including:

• General Ledger with Document Splitting
• Accounts Payable with payment integration
• Accounts Receivable
• Bank Accounting with automatic bank reconciliation
• Fixed Asset (New Asset Accounting)
• Cost and Profit Center Accounting

b)     Experience in maintaining FICO authorization role (PFCG) is required.

c)     Exposure to Project System, Margin Analysis and Embedded Analytics is a strong advantage.

1. Recognized Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or a related field.
