SAP Basis Analyst (Junior) — 12-Month Contract

Location: Central (Singapore)

Type: 1-year contract, Full-time

Compensation: Up to SGD 5,000/month 

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on SAP Basis Operations Analyst to keep our SAP landscape healthy and humming. You'll handle daily monitoring, user administration, and transports, support senior BASIS engineers during system copies and patches, and collaborate across ABAP, Functional, and Infrastructure teams to resolve issues quickly and document them well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run daily SAP health checks across application servers, databases, background jobs, queues, and spools.
  • Perform user administration and assist with Transport Management activities.
  • Monitor and analyze system logs, update queues, and spool requests; raise or resolve incidents.
  • Support backup/restore procedures and participate in system copies, kernel updates, and patching under guidance.
  • Coordinate with ABAP, Functional, and Infrastructure teams to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Maintain clear documentation for configurations, incidents, changes, and resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of Basis administration (daily monitoring, transaction analysis, user management).
  • Understanding of SAP system architecture, TMS, and client landscape concepts.
  • Familiarity with databases (HANA, Oracle) and operating systems (Linux, Windows) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, teamwork, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Solution Manager, basic performance tuning, or job scheduling tools.
  • Experience following ITIL processes (incident/change/problem).
  • Scripting basics (e.g., Shell/PowerShell) for task automation.
