The Channel Partner Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through effective engagement with channel partners. This role requires a balanced focus on acquiring new partners (50% hunting) and managing & growing existing partnerships (50% farming). You will work closely with partners to develop go-to-market strategies, enable sales success, and ensure mutual business profitability.


Key Responsibilities

Partner Acquisition & Business Development (50%)

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential channel partners to expand market reach.
  • Conduct market mapping to identify new ecosystem opportunities.
  • Develop joint business plans with new partners to ensure successful ramp-up.
  • Drive pipeline generation and convert new partner leads into active revenue channels.

Partner Relationship Management & Growth (50%)

  • Manage and nurture existing channel partners to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and provide performance analytics to partners.
  • Enable partners with product training, sales tools, and marketing support.
  • Strengthen partner loyalty and ensure high satisfaction levels.

Sales Excellence

  • Achieve assigned revenue targets through partner contribution.
  • Monitor partner pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting in CRM.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and manage contract renewals where required.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Pre-Sales, Operations) to support partner success.

Market Insights & Strategy

  • Analyze competitor landscape and share insights to support strategy refinement.
  • Participate in channel events, roadshows, and partner engagement initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in partner programs.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in channel/indirect sales, account management, or B2B sales roles.
  • Strong track record in both partner acquisition and partner development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience in technology/SaaS/IT distribution (preferred).
