Join the Finance & Accounting Division of COSCO Shipping International (Singapore) Co., Ltd, a leading player in the maritime and logistics industry. We are seeking a meticulous and experienced individual to manage full sets of accounts and support key financial operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Part of local finance team for managing the accounting activities covering full sets of accounts.
  • Process reimbursement claims, manage payment, prepare tax submission and support audits processes.
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality and provide support day-to-day in the finance operations team.
  • Prepare timely financial, P&L bank loan report (including the group subsidiary companies).
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close activities including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Liaise with auditors, manage tax compliance, assist with regulatory reporting.
  • Work cross functionally to compile financial data and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and local regulations.
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates should possess at least a recognized Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant and professional experience in accounting.
  • Proficiency in SAP system and other accounting system; eager to learn new tools (e.g., cost control system, treasury information system).
  • Strong computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office (particular focus on excel capabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, GST and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Independent and team oriented with adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese associates for work purpose) and excellent verbal and written.
