Great Learning Education is a leading education company committed to excellence and delivering high-quality courses to our clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Certified Accountant to join our finance team and support the company's accounting and financial operations.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with 3–5 years of experience in accounting and compliance. The role is execution-focused and requires strong skills in bookkeeping, reconciliations, compliance, and audit support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys end-to-end accounting work in a growing international company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and supporting documentation.
  • Financial Statements: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • GST & Tax Compliance: Prepare GST returns, support corporate income tax compliance, and ensure timely submission of statutory obligations.
  • Audit Coordination: Prepare schedules, liaise with auditors, and ensure smooth completion of statutory audits.
  • Banking & Payment Gateways: Liaise with banks and payment gateway partners to manage transactions, settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Tax & Regulatory Liaison: Work with consultants, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies on compliance matters.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with the India-based finance team on daily accounting operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce.
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience (corporate or public accounting).
  • Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, GST filing, reconciliations, and statutory compliance in Singapore.
  • Hands-on with Microsoft office applications (primarily MS – Excel).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
