Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced support and operational maintenance for:
- Windows Server Environments (2016, 2019, 2022)
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- Endpoint Management Tools: BigFix, SCCM, WSUS
- VMware: ESXi, vCenter, vSphere environments
- PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting
- SharePoint (On-prem and Online) administration and access management
- Manage and resolve incidents, problems, and complex service requests in a production environment.
- Provide technical escalation support to L1/L2 teams and perform deep-dive analysis and troubleshooting.
- Monitor system performance, ensure availability, and conduct proactive capacity and patch planning.
- Execute recurring operational tasks like health checks, patch deployment, policy enforcement, and security validation.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, incident reports, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with vendors and OEM support teams for product-related escalations and issue resolution.
Optional / Good to Have:
- Experience in Directory & Authentication Systems:
- Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID
- LDAP, PKI, and DNS Infrastructure
- SAML, OAuth, and MFA implementations
- Identity lifecycle and compliance policy enforcement
Cross-Technology Support:
The candidate is expected to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in supporting technologies beyond their core responsibilities. Depending on evolving project needs, organizational direction, or strategic initiatives, the engineer may be required to learn, transition into, or contribute to other technology domains within the infrastructure or application landscape. A continuous learning mindset and willingness to take ownership across diverse technical areas are essential to ensure seamless and future-ready IT operations.
In line with operational needs, the candidate should also be open to supporting adjacent platforms and technologies such as:
- Application support teams
- End-user computing (EUC) and desktop infrastructure
- Infrastructure monitoring tools and alert management
- File servers, license servers, and other enterprise platforms
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of enterprise IT operations/support experience.
- Strong hands-on experience across:
- Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policies
- VMware virtualization
- BigFix, SCCM (MECM), and WSUS
- PowerShell scripting
- SharePoint support and user access management
- Experience in ITIL-based service management (Incident, Change, Problem).
- Strong analytical thinking, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to function in on-call rotations or shift-based support models.
