Job Summary:

  • Basic Salary: $3,300 to $3,700
  • Location: West
  • Working Days: 5.5 days work week
  • Working Time: Mon-Fri Office hours (staggered shifts between 8am – 6pm) and Saturday: Staggered shifts between 8am – 1.30pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide fast, skillful, and accurate blood collection for patients using venipuncture, capillary, and heel-prick techniques
  • Perform phlebotomy, ECG, and spirometry accurately, efficiently, and professionally
  • Ensure work area is clean, tidy, and compliant with infection control guidelines
  • Verify patient identity using 2 identifiers before sample collection or testing
  • Maintain proper documentation for traceability and adhere to good documentation practices
  • Comply with workplace safety, hand hygiene, and relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements of the laboratory
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all external and internal clients (patients, doctors, vendors) both over the counter and on the phone

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in performing phlebotomy in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to handle a high volume of patients' blood draws efficiently
  • Recognised N/O Level, ITE Certificate, or Diploma in Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Health Sciences, or a Certificate in Phlebotomy
