About the role
Sin Hong Hardware Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in the West Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and ensuring the highest standards of product excellence across our wholesale trading operations.
What you'll be doing
- Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance plans and procedures
- Assist in conducting regular inspections, testing, and audits to identify and address any quality issues
- Analyze data and generate detailed reports to track and monitor quality metrics
- Work with all departments to continuously improve processes and eliminate defects
- Provide technical guidance and training to staff on quality control best practices
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and internal quality standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and making recommendations to management
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Technician or similar role in the industry
- Strong technical expertise in quality control methodologies, such as statistical process control, ISO 9001, and Six Sigma
- Proficient in the use of quality-related tools and equipment, including inspection devices, measurement instruments, and data analysis software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality
