Company Description
Konbini Technologies is a Tech company that specialises in both software and hardware- we builds IoT technology systems, including cloud-based Asset Management and Food Service Automation systems.
We help enterprises automate many of their business processes using our smart lockers and machines, combined with our Inventory & Asset Management cloud solutions.
We have been operating for 10 years and have established a strong set of clients including prestigious organisations like Singapore Prisons, MHA, MINDEF, Applied Materials, Shimano, Novartis, Pfizer, INSEAD, amongst other institutional, industrial and government clients.
We are now looking to add a Business Development Specialist to help drive sales and growth (which has been mainly handled by the founder previously) while the rest of the team focuses on development and execution of projects.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Specialist in Singapore, focusing on developing new business in Singapore for our Smart Lockers & Asset Management solutions.
The Specialist will be responsible for driving sales for the business by identifying and developing new customer opportunities, expanding market share, and building strong, long-term client relationships.
The candidate must have strong ability to penetrate various industries- some recommended industries include - Semicon,Pharma, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Hospitals, Education.
Candidates with strong existing networks and B2B experience are preferred, but newer candidates with a strong ability to hustle are also welcome.
Key Responsibilities
-Business Growth & Sales
-Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across target industries.
-Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve revenue and margin targets.
-Prepare proposals and close contracts with new and existing customers.
-Track, report, and follow up on sales activities to support account growth and market expansion.
-Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing requirements and resolving issues in collaboration with internal teams.
-Monitor customer trends and provide insights to enhance service offerings.
-Market Development & Strategy
-Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
-Support business development activities, including preparing and delivering solution presentations, conducting business analysis, and providing recommendations to meet customer needs.
Requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in business development, account management, or related roles (fresh graduates with strong potential will also be considered).
• Track record in acquiring and growing B2B accounts.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and convert them into business results.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
