The Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturing MNC with strong presence in US, Japan and APAC region. With further business expansion plans, they are now hiring a Finance Manager in their Singapore office. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced financial professional to play a key role with both US GAAP reporting and J-SOX compliance exposure.

The Role

Reporting to Regional Finance Director, you will oversee the group accounting and reporting matters which include US GAAP reporting, J-SOX compliance, review of the outsourced accounting and manage the in-house accounting team in Singapore, and also worked closely with tax and audit consultants. On top of which, you will be also involved in budgeting and forecasting and acting as a finance business partner for the Singapore operations.

Your Profile

To be a successful candidate, you must be

  • A qualified accountant with a Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • At least 10-12 years of finance accounting and reporting experience
  • Prior Big 4 experience is highly preferred
  • Candidate with relevant industry exposure in manufacturing or inventory-based sector is highly preferred
  • US GAAP knowledge & J-SOX exposure is a must
  • Additionally, strong communication skills are required to drive business partnering and must be able to influence business stakeholders.
