Technical Support Executive

Responsibilities
- In charge of technical purchase for machinery parts and consumables purchase for Maintenance / Production / Warehouse & Logistics / QA departments.
- Source, evaluate and identify reliable suppliers based on factors such as price, lead time, quality, suitability, necessity and logistical expenses.
- Negotiate purchases and supply contracts to achieve best result for the Company.
- Coordinate with shipping agencies and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services.
- Maintain EAM / CMMS software for effective spare parts inventory management to reduce downtime and improves productivity. Ensure spare parts inventory record are accurately kept.
- Monitor expenses and ensure no wastage on consumables.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Liaise with machinery suppliers for machine related issues.
- Provide administrative support to Maintenance / Production / Warehouse & Logistics / QA Dept.
- Perform ad-hoc and other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering with 2 years (or Diploma with 3 years) in technical purchase and machinery maintenance related experience
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Resilient, pro-active, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to converse in Mandarin to liase with Mandarin speaking counterparts.
