What the role is

Project title: Strengthening Financial Governance through Second Line Checks
Support the finance department in strengthening financial governance through development and implementation of second-line checks. The project involves risk assessment, documentation of control procedures, and execution of control testing.

What you will be working on

  • Analyse financial processes to identify potential risk areas and control gaps
  • Develop comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for conducting second-line checks
  • Execute second-line checks under guidance
  • Document findings and prepare reports on control effectiveness

What we are looking for

  • Background in accounting or finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel)
  • Understanding of data analytics
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
