Responsibilities:

  • Design standardization and optimization for semiconductor machinery.
  • Manage costing, project planning, and schedule adherence.
  • Conceptualize machine and module designs from initial requirements.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Concurrent Engineering principles.
  • Design pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
  • Prepare detailed fabrication, assembly, and layout drawings.
  • Select and size appropriate standard mechanical components.
  • Participate in new product development and sustaining engineering / continuous improvement projects (CIPs).
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Semiconductor industry.
  • Proficient in 3D solid modelling, preferably Pro/ENGINEER (Pro-E). Other acceptable software includes Solid Edge, Auto Inventor, Mechanical Desktop, or Solid Designer.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
