The Cross Technology Technical Architect is a seasoned subject matter expert responsible for specifying and designing solutions across technology domains. This role involves ensuring the successful technical design and build of custom solution elements to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply design standards, methods, and tools aligned with enterprise and solution architectures.
  • Guide implementation and execution of system solutions.
  • Advise on the application of technical specialisms in planning and operations.
  • Contribute to developing solution architectures in specific areas.
  • Define scope, requirements, and prioritization for small to complex changes.
  • Design components following architectures, standards, and patterns.
  • Provide pre-sales support by analyzing client needs and existing infrastructure.
  • Ensure technical solutions meet client objectives.
  • Work with Solutions Architects to produce technical specifications.
  • Develop technical design documents.
  • Lead scope, pricing, and RFP/RFI responses, and assist in deal decisions.
  • Manage client proof of concept initiatives.
Knowledge and Attributes:
  • Seasoned product and technology knowledge.
  • Understanding of vendor products and market positioning.
  • Excellent communication skills and client relationship management.
  • Knowledge of reference architectures and technology trends.
  • Knowledge of core frameworks and problem domains.
  • Basic understanding of vendor subscription models.
Qualifications and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
  • Certifications in Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL, COBIT).
  • Vendor certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle).
  • Experience with programming languages like C .
  • SAFe Agile certification is a plus.
Experience Required:
  • Experience as a systems developer and architect.
  • Experience in systems administration or network engineering.
  • Client engagement and consulting experience.
  • Experience managing expectations and working in agile environments.
