Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration and verification of measuring instruments and devices related to dimensions, mass, force, and torque at the laboratory or client sites as needed.
  • Operate and maintain precision instruments such as micrometers, weights, force gauges, torque testers, and other dimensional tools.
  • Conduct routine testing and quality checks on laboratory equipment.
  • Prepare detailed calibration certificates and reports in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
  • Maintain accurate calibration records and ensure traceability to national or international standards.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of calibration equipment and the laboratory environment.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust instruments as required to meet calibration specifications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and comply with relevant quality management systems.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in calibration methodologies.
  • Collaborate with engineers and team members to fulfill customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in handling precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of calibration software and tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
