About the role
We are seeking a Senior Officer, Disbursement (Hire Purchase) to join our team at Hong Leong Finance Ltd in the Central Business District. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for processing and managing hire purchase loan disbursements, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Process and manage hire purchase loan disbursements efficiently and accurately
- Ensure loan documentation is in order and to perform required pre-disbursements checks
- Assist with preparation of facility letters, entries into systems, collating of operation metrics and monthly reporting as well as updating of department procedure manuals
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Additional task such as Automation Projects, BCP & other administrative duties
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
What we're looking for
- Degree or Diploma in Banking/Business/Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the banking or finance industry
- Strong knowledge of hire purchase loan disbursement processes and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
- Proficient in using relevant banking and finance software systems
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset
