Health, Safety & Wellbeing Specialist

The Opportunity

  • Adecco is partnering our client, one of the biggest Tech MNCs
  • We are looking for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Specialist
  • The role will start out as a contract
  • Candidates who are immediately available/ able to start work within short notice will be preferred

The Talent

  • Education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
  • Recognized Health & Safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH, WSQ Workplace Safety & Health, ISO preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in health, safety, wellbeing, or occupational health roles, ideally within a corporate or regional context.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing health & wellbeing programs and ensuring compliance with local laws in Singapore.
  • Project coordination and event management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence across different functions and levels.

Job Description

  • Design and deliver health, safety, and wellbeing programs aligned with the people and culture strategy and health and safety policies in Singapore.
  • Define and execute on Health and Safety plan that ensure compliance local legal requirements in Singapore.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prevent, early detect, manage and reintegrate cases of illness or disorder and minimize work-related productivity loss.
  • Keep updated on changes to health and safety laws in Singapore and support teams across the region to stay compliant.
  • Support the creation of effective governance structures for health and safety standards in Singapore, to ensure our practices are compliant with local laws, providing guidance and oversight to ensure consistency and accountability.
  • Coordinate the development of health and safety roadmaps and action plans, ensuring they meet mandatory requirements and align with organizational goals.
  • Support the communication and rollout of health and safety initiatives across countries, including transparency on communication channels (creation and maintenance of emails, share points).
  • Creation of Purchase orders and follow up process to ensure compliant process with vendors.
  • Support, coordinate and manage logistics for events.
  • Advise country council on global and regional health and safety programs happening.
  • Monitor health, safety, and wellbeing programs that promote a proactive safety culture, support employee wellness, and promote organizational resilience.
