Job Summary:

The Cake Decorator is responsible for finishing, decorating, and presenting cakes to meet design specifications and FNP Cakes' standard of quality. The role focuses on the creative and technical aspects of cake decoration (cream, fondant, toppers, etc.) and requires close coordination with the production team to fulfill orders efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Frost and decorate cakes using cream, buttercream, ganache, fondant, etc.

·       Create customized fondant decorations, toppers, and figurines as per design briefs.

·       Interpret design requests and select colours and decorative elements accordingly.

·       Meet daily production and decoration targets, ensuring timely completion of orders.

·       Ensure all cakes are properly packed, labeled, and aesthetically presented.

·       Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the workstation.

·       Assist with inventory of decorating supplies and report low stock levels.

·       Stay updated with modern cake design trends and decorating techniques.

Requirements / Qualifications:

· –5 years of experience in cake decorating (cream and/or fondant).

·       Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail.

·       Ability to work independently and interpret design briefs accurately.

·       Good communication skills and teamwork.

·       Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·       Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (ISO/HACCP/Halal compliance preferred).

• Salary range: SGD 2,500 – 3,500/month (depending on experience)
