Singapore Advanced Material Engineering Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description:
Supervise and direct the production team to achieve target outputs and maintain high quality standards
Manage and expedite the production flow to meet production target
Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading engineering drawings and process instructions.
Oversee all aspects of day-to-day production operations
Support the Plant Manager to plan and fully utilize of manpower and resources
Develop, maintain and update production documentation including MITE, OWI, RA.
Ensure that the production documentation complies with the ISO standards.
Lead and support production audits such as DNV audits and safety inspection with the supervisor.
Lead and identify possible process improvement.
Manage production workflows, WIPs and resources.
Work with maintenance and supervisor to ensure the preventive maintenance plan is executed to keep the machine upkeep.
Involved in production plant layout optimization and machine acquisition process.
Perform duties as per assigned by the production manager.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and site safety through hazard identification and prevention.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a production supervisor or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
Familiar with using Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and drawings.
Good communication skills.
Able to work as a team.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and quality control measures
Familiarity with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
