About the role

As the Kitchen Manager at Kantin at Jewel Changi, you will play a vital role in overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen. Responsible for a fulltime position based in the East Region, you will be a key leader in ensuring the delivery of high-quality dining experiences for our customers.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision Ensure that all food preparation and cooking processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene Collaborate closely with the front-of-house team to maintain consistent and exceptional customer service Develop and implement efficient workflows, systems, and procedures to optimise kitchen productivity Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver outstanding results Monitor and maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive the business forward

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5 years) in a similar kitchen management role, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry A proven track record of leading and motivating kitchen teams to consistently deliver high-quality food and excellent customer service Strong working knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills A passion for creating exceptional dining experiences and a commitment to continuous improvement Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams
