Description:

Guy Carpenter is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Singapore office:

Facultative Reinsurance Team Leader (1-year contract)

We will count on you to:

  • Lead teams located in Singapore and India, focusing on technical accounting and claims management.
  • Utilize data insights to analyze and address client challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Client Support Services (CSS) team to review and set up complex contracts within the system.
  • Prepare materials and actively participate in strategic meetings.
  • Develop and implement processes to resolve operational issues, uphold standards, and ensure the CSS team adheres to procedures and professional guidelines to meet all processing SLAs.
  • Work closely with brokers to develop processes that fulfill client servicing needs for complex accounts.
  • Conduct training sessions for CSS colleagues as needed, provide support and guidance to team members, and contribute to the development of departmental resources.
  • Approve leadership reports and present technical information and metrics to key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implement quality assurance measures and keep abreast of regulatory changes.
  • Lead strategic projects as assigned.

What you need to have:

  • More than 10 years of reinsurance experience. Prior experience in Facultative Reinsurance is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft suite skills including Excel and Power Automate.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
