**What the day will look like**
- Designing and structure insurance solutions for clients
- Developing broker strategies together with clients and Aon network offices.
- Executing technical renewal or new placement plans including negotiations with Underwriters.
- Actively engaging with markets on a day to day basis and maintain key market relationships
- Participate in new business development initiatives and prospect presentations.
- Ensure the Broker documentation are put in place not limiting to drafting broking slip, endorsement and other relevant broking documents.
- Preparing market materials (broker submissions) for broking risks to the underwriters
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders not limited to insurers / underwriters
- Developing and maintaining technical knowledge and experience in the Casualty space of expertise, including having up to date knowledge of insurance market developments, carrier capabilities and competitiveness
- Working within the team to promote best practices, such as proprietary policy wordings and clauses, standardized templates for various documents, archiving of broking files, peer review process, compliance issues etc
- Liaising with the Aon network offices to ensure client needs and expectation are met.
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- At least 1-3 years’ broking experience either in wholesale or retail markets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with external markets and internally with our network offices in the region
- Meticulous, hardworking and a go-getter with good interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and maintain business relationships
- Demonstrates knowledge of the Insurance industry within the APAC region
- Team Player
- Degree with ACII / AAII qualification or equivalent (but not essential)
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
