  • Provide drug information and clinical advice to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Communicating formulary revisions to other healthcare professionals
  • Preparation and administrative work for all Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee matters.
  • Analyzing, evaluating and reporting data on systems set-up for drug use, drug utilization patterns or adverse drug reaction
  • Collaboration with intra- and inter-department stakeholders to provide smooth and safe flows of medication.
  • Participate in drug information/medication safety activities and conduct clinical review for appropriateness of medication orders.
  • Assist in training of pre-registration pharmacists and pharmacy students.
  • Dispense medications to patients, explaining the indications for drug therapy and instructions for administration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) from an accredited University recognized by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
  • 2 to 3 years of working experience in a hospital setting is preferable.
  • Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
