As an Engineer (Building) - Healthcare, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Oversee the operation, upkeep, modification, and replacement of hospital infrastructure, M&E systems, and all non-clinical assets.
  • Direct and monitor external maintenance teams against set KPIs, ensuring building systems remain functional and fully serviceable.
  • Audit the quality and compliance of specialist vendor workstreams to ensure maintenance processes meet the hospital's standards.
  • Serve as project lead or team member for building and system improvement initiatives—planning specifications, estimating budgets, and managing implementation and handover.
  • Offer technical advice and assist in troubleshooting system failures, including recommending decommissioning or replacement when necessary.
  • Ensure scheduled preventive maintenance is carried out, coordinate rapid response during breakdowns, and enforce safety, infection control, and operational protocols of the facility.
  • Enforce onsite compliance with house rules, conduct random site inspections, assist with fire and security preparedness, raise work requisitions, support campus infrastructure development, and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
